Downtown Calling
Movie Titles and Identity
GHAVA was asked to create the title sequence to Downtown Calling, a film by Shan Nicolson about the late 70s – early 80s music scene in downtown New York City. Narrated by Deborah Harry. Produced by our main man Ben Velez with design, logo, titles and packaging by GHAVA.
We also created posters for the film’s world premiere at the Austin Film Festival. Black soy ink on varied pastel 11×17 inch sheets.
